The RCOS artifacts

These pages contain the artifacts - the outcome of applying RCOS to the EcoHubs community - structured in seven layers. Each layer answers one foundational question the community must resolve. They build on each other — identity before membership, membership before governance, and so on up through evolution.

  • Layer 0

    Identity

Who the community is. Purpose, scope, and invariants that cannot be changed without a constitutional decision.

    →
  • Layer 1

    Membership

Who belongs. States, onboarding, agreements, and how members exit.

    →
  • Layer 2

    Governance

How decisions are made. Authority, decision matrix, and governance protocol.

    →
  • Layer 3

    Economy

How value flows. Internal economy protocol and treasury ruleset.

    →
  • Layer 4

    Conflict

How disputes are handled. Accountability protocol and conflict resolution ladder.

    →
  • Layer 5

    Operations

How the community runs day-to-day. Roles, manual, and meeting templates.

    →
  • Layer 6

    Evolution

How the system changes itself. Change protocol, learning log, version history.
